Uusi valio // New Champion

Finja  (Maple Bay Miss Trueblood), joka asuu Saksassa, on nyt Saksan muotovalio (VDH) (ja samalla siitä tuli myös Suomen muotovalio, koska 2013 Pori KV:stä saatu sertti oli roikkumassa). Finja on tämän pentueen yhdeksästä pennusta jo viides muotovalio. Lisäksi kahdelta muulta sisarukselta (Sirkka ja Dio) puuttuu enää viimeinen sertti muotovaliotittelistä. Onnittelut Finjan omistajille Karstenille & Annettille! :)

Finja (Maple Bay Miss Trueblood) living in Germany is now a German Champion (VDH) (and she is also became a Finnish Champion, as she received a CC at the Pori Int show in 2013). Finja is already the fifth conformation champion of the litter of nine pups. Additionally, two more littermates (Sirkka & Dio) are only missing one more CC from their champion titles. Congratulations to Finja's owners Karsten and Annett! :)

Maailmannäyttelyn ja erikoisnäyttelyn tuloksia ja terveystuloksia // World Show & Specialty Show results and health results

Elokuun 9. pv oltiin Helsingissä Maailmannäyttelyssä, tuomarina viheillä oli Rafael Malo Alcrudo, Espanja. Leila sai erin ja oli valioluokassa kolmas. Torspon tulos käyttöluokasta ERI/1, Shmi'n käyttöluokasta EH/1.
Lisäksi kasvattajaryhmämme oli ROP-kasvattajaryhmä.

Railin ja Sirkan kuvaustulokset tulivat Kennelliitosta. Raili: lonkat C/B, kyynärpäät 0/0, selkä LTV0, SP0, VA0, olkanivelet normaalit (ei virallinen tulos) ja polvet 0/0. Sirkka: lonkat B/B, kyynärpäät 0/1, selkä LTV1, SP0, VA0, olkanivelet normaalit (ei virallinen tulos) ja polvet 0/0.

Viime viikonloppuna lauantaina oli Suomen Vihikoirayhdistyksen erikoisnäyttely Pomarkussa, tuomarina meillä oli Leni Finne. ROP ja BIS oli Torspo (Maple Bay True Keeper Brillo) ja VSP siskonsa Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare). Ulla (Maple Bay Echo Of True) oli PN2, kantanarttuni Kylli (Badger Creeks K9 Undercover Kylie 9v) PN3 ja BISVET, Leila (Maple Bay Nosmoke Nofire) PN4. Fredi (Maple Bay Mightyfirestone) oli uroksissa PU2. Sirkka oli avoimessa luokassa ERI/1 ja Raili EH/2 - kun ei taas yhtään viihtynyt kehässä.. Lopuksi vielä kasvattajaryhmämme (Team Liver eli Torspo, Shmi, Ulla & Raili) oli BIS-kasvattajaryhmä. Kiitokset ja onnittelut kaikille! Oli todella upea päivä! :)

August 9th we were in Helsinki at the World Show, bloodhounds were judged by Mr. Rafael Malo Alcrudo, Spain. Leila got a "excellent" and placed 3rd in champion class. Torspo got Exc/1 from the working class, Shmi got Very good/1 from working class. In addition, our breeders group was BOB breeders group.

Raili's and Sirkka's official health results came back from the FKC. Raili: hips C/B, elbows 0/0, spine: LTV0, SP0, VA0, shoulders normal (unofficial result), patellas 0/0. Sirkka: hips B/B, elbows 0/1, spine: LTV1, SP0, VA0, shoulders normal (unofficial result), patellas 0/0.

On Saturday last weekend we had the Specialty show of the Finnish Bloodhound Association in Pomarkku, our judge was Mrs. Leni Finne. BOB and BIS was Torspo (Maple Bay True Keeper Brillo) and BOS his sister Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare). Ulla (Maple Bay Echo Of True) was BB2, my foundation bitch Kylli (Badger Creeks K9 Undercover Kylie 9v) was BB3 and BISVET, Leila (Maple Bay Nosmoke Nofire) was BB4. In males Fredi (Maple Bay Mightyfirestone) was BD2. Sirkka took Exc/1 from the open class and Raili Very good/2 - as she did not like the ring at all this time either.. Finally our breeders group (Team Liver ie. Torspo, Shmi, Ulla and Raili) was BIS-breeders group. Thank you and congratulations to all! It really was a fantastic day! :)

Jälkikoe // Mantrailing trial in Kuru 15.6.2014

Raili (Maple Bay My True Telstar) sai sunnuntaina toisen AVO1-tuloksensa vihikoirien jälkikokeesta ja oli myös Kurun kokeen kokonaisvoittaja. Tuomarina oli Ismo Koiranen. Myös Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare) sai ensimmäisen AVO1-tuloksensa. Molemmat työskentelivät hienosti jäljellä ja tekivät hyvän tunnistuksen.

Raili (Maple Bay My True Telstar) got her second Open 1 result from the mantrailing trial on Sunday and she was also the grand trial winner. Our judge was Ismo Koiranen. Also Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare) got her first Open 1 result. Both worked well on the trail and did a nice ID.

Erikoisnäyttelytuloksia Saksasta ja Suomesta // Specialty show results from Germany & Finland

Finja (Maple Bay Miss Trueblood) oli ROP ja BIS Schöningenissä Saksassa pidettyssä Erikoisnäyttelyssä 24.5.2014. Tuomarina oli Mark Cocozza (Iso-Britannia). Superonnittelut Finjan perheelle! :)

Leila (Maple Bay Nosmoke Nofire) oli ROP Suomen Bassetkerhon erikoisnäyttelyssä Tampereella 29.5.2014, tuomarina Marko Lepasaar, Viro. Sirkka (Maple Bay True Love Waits) sai EH:n. Leila ja Sirkka olivat BIS4-pari, tuomarina Antti Nuutero.

Finja (Maple Bay Miss Trueblood) took BOB and BIS at the Hound Specialty Show in Schöningen, Germany on May 24th, 2014. The judge was Mr. Mark Cocozza (UK). Super congrats to Finja's family! :)

Leila (Maple Bay Nosmoke Nofire) took BOB at the Specialty show of the Basset Hound Club of Finland in Tampere May 29th, 2014. The judge was Mr. Marko Lepasaar, Estonia. Sirkka (Maple Bay True Love Waits) got a "very good". Leila and Sirkka took Best Brace In Show 4th, judged by Mr. Antti Nuutero.

Näyttelytuloksia Englannista ja Suomesta // Show news from UK & Finland

Englannissa Connie (Maple Bay True Superstar at Cilwgri) sai perjantaina viimeisen serttinsä ja oli ROP, tuomarina oli rotuspesialisti Shane O'Keefe, joten Connie on nyt Englannin muotovalio!! Onnea Eileen ja Robin! :)

Lauantaina Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare) kävi Lahti KV-näyttelyssä ja oli ROP kera sertin, cacibin ja erinomaisen arvostelun, tuomarina Paavo Mattila. Enää puuttuu yksi sertti valiotittelistä..! Onnea Pia ja muu perhe! :)

Ja kun on unohtunut päivittää aiemmin: Leila (Maple Bay Nosmoke Nofire) pokkasi joulukuun Messarista pari lisätitteliä: lauantaina 14.12.2013 Pohjoismaiden Voittaja 2013 ja VSP (tuomarina Patricia De Coning, Etelä-Afrikka) ja sunnuntaina 15.12.2013 Voittaja 2013 ollen ROP (tuomarina Jose Homem de Mello, Portugali). Leilan esitti taas ansiokkaasti Mariza Laakko, kiitokset! :) Ulla (Maple Bay Echo of True) oli myös sunnuntaina näytillä ollen PN2 kera varacacibin, jonka FCI muuttaa cacibiksi (kun Leila jo on C.I.B.)

In UK Connie (Maple Bay True Superstar at Cilwgri) got her last CC and took BOB on Friday under breed specialist judge Mr. Shane O'Keefe, so that makes Connie now Gb Ch!! Congratulations to Eileen and Robin! :)

On Saturday Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare) took BOB with a CC, cacib and a wonderful critique at the Lahti Int show under judge Mr. Paavo Mattila. Only one more CC needed for finishing her title!! Congratulations to Pia and the rest of the family! :)

And, as I have not remembered to update the news: Leila (Maple Bay Nosmoke Nofire) got a couple of more titles at the Winner shows in Helsinki in December: on Saturday 14.12.2013 she took BOS and Nordic Winner 2013 title (judge Mrs. Patricia De Coning, South-Africa) and on Sunday 15.12.2013 she took BOB and Winner 2013 title (judge Mr. Jose Homem de Mello, Portugal). Leila was again expertly handled by Mariza Laakko, thank you! :) Ulla (Maple Bay Echo of True) was also shown on Sunday and she took Best Bitch 2 and a res-cacib, which will be converted to a cacib (as Leila is already Int Ch.)
