Leila sai kaksi uutta titteliä viikonloppuna; se oli Helsingin Messukeskuksen näyttelyissä molempina päivinä ROP ja on nyt siis Helsinki Winner 2011 ja Winner 2011. Tuomarina oli lauantaina Gerard Cox Irlannista ja sunnuntaina Paavo Mattila Suomesta. Erityiskiitokset Leenalle Leilan esittämisestä lauantaina!

Leila got two new titles last weekend; she took BOB both days at the Helsinki Fair Center shows and is now Helsinki Winner 2011 and Winner 2011. Our judge on Saturday was Mr. Gerard Cox, Ireland, and on Sunday Mr. Paavo Mattila, Finland. Special thanks for Leena for handling Leila on Saturday!

Maple Bay True Superstar "Connie" om. Eileen Peers, Iso-Britannia, kasv. minä, teki tänään vihihistoriaa Helsingin kaikkien rotujen pentunäyttelyssä. Eilen se voitti ryhmänsä ja tänään se oli Best In Show! Kiitokset tuomareille Matti Luoso (rotu), Veli-Pekka Kumpumäki (ryhmä) ja Leni Finne (BIS). Tämän onnellisempia emme voisi enää olla!

Maple Bay True Superstar "Connie" owned by Eileen Peers, UK, and bred by me made bloodhound history today at the Helsinki all-breed puppy show. Yesterday she won the Group and today she won Best In Show! Thank you to judges Mr. Matti Luoso (breed), Mr. Veli-Pekka Kumpumäki (group) and Mrs. Leni Finne (BIS). We could not be happier!

Leila oli lauantaina Seinäjoen KV-näyttelyssä ROP, tuomarina Per-Harald Nymark Norjasta.

Sunnuntaina oli Railin ja Ullan vuoro debytoida kehässä Lahden kaikkien rotujen pentunäyttelyssä. Tuomarina oli Paula Rekiranta. Paikalla olivat myös veli Torspo (Maple Bay True Keeper Brillo) ja sisko Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare). Torspo oli ROP-pentu ja RYP-1 pentu. Raili oli VSP-pentu, Ulla 2:nen ja KP ja Shmi 3:s. Kiitokset Railin ansiokkaasta esittämisestä Hanna Siikaniemelle. Lisäksi kasvattajaryhmästä (Suomen ensimmäinen maksanväristen vihien kasvattajaryhmä) tuli ROP-kasvattaja upealla arvostelulla: "Ryhmä tyypiltään erinomaisia yksilöitä, jotka kaikki ikäisekseen erittäin hyvin kehittyneitä. Hyvät pään mallit, vahvat luustot ja pitkät rodunomaiset liikkeet. Hyvä ryhmä".

Leila took BOB at the Seinäjoki Int show on Saturday, our judge was Mr. Per-Harald Nymark, Norway. On Sunday it was Raili's and Ulla's turn to make their ring debut at the Lahti all breed puppy show. Our judge was Mrs. Paula Rekiranta. Also brother Torspo (Maple Bay True Keeper Brillo) and sister Shmi (Maple Bay Truth Or Dare) were shown. Torspo took BOB puppy and Group 1 puppy. Raili took BOS puppy, Ulla was 2nd with honorary prize and Shmi was third. Thank you to Hanna Siikaniemi for expert handling of Raili. We also got the BOB breeder's group (the first ever all liver&tan breeder's group in Finland!) with wonderful critique: "A group of individuals of excellent type, they're all very well developed for the age. Nice head shapes, strong bones and movements of long strides typical for the breed. A nice group".

Bloodhound Specialty Show 13.8.2011

Suomen Vihikoirayhdistyksen 40-vuotisjuhlaerikoisnäyttely pidettiin Pomarkussa lauantaina 13.8. Tuomarina oli Leonarda Pogodzinski, Iso-Britannia. Tiukka tuomari antoi ERI:n vain neljälle koiralle. Leila oli VSP ja ROP oli Smart Nose's Blues Brother "Elvis". PU2 kera sertin oli Badgershill John B Keane "Vili" ja PN2 oli Leilan emä "Kylli" Badger Creek's K9 Undercover Kylie.

Pojat (Niilo ja Fredi) saivat vain "erittäin hyvän".

Finnish Bloodhound Association's 40 years anniversary specialty show was held on Saturday August 13th, in Pomarkku. Our judge was Mrs. Leonarda Pogodzinski, Great Britain. Tough judge - only four hounds got an "Excellent". Leila took BOS and BOB went to Smart Nose's Blues Brother "Elvis". 2nd best male with a CC was Badgershill John B Keane "Vili" and 2nd best bitch was Leila's dam "Kylli" Badger Creek's K9 Undercover Kylie.

Boys (Niilo & Fredi) only got a "very good".
